Connecting Groups

Connecting groups meet 1-2 times per month from October through May. Group members become a regular part of each other’s faith journeys as they meet to discuss books and films, share parenting strategies, volunteer together at local organizations, and dig into issues that affect our wider communities. (And eat together, of course.)

Caregiver Support Connecting Group

A caregiver support group is a safe place to voice concerns and share resources and strategies specific to caring for adults with health concerns or a disability.

Writing Connecting Group

Once a month the group meets to listen to each others’ written stories, essays, and poems read out loud.
Our purpose is to encourage the creative process by noting strengths, commenting on form and detail, and asking questions of the writer. This sharing creates trust, openness, mutual joy, and new ways of seeing each other. Often we begin our time with reflection questions or insights from other writings to widen our vision together.
